Morning Dear! The work was based on the short story the Giving Tree. The tree provided everything the young boy need while growing up. First play, then the fruit from the tree, hours of daydreaming while resting beneath, wood for his home while his own family grew up. In later years only a stump was left which the old man now late in years; provided a resting place to reflect on his past. Very touching story of what is freely given from above in support of one below. As above, so below.

The lone figure under the tree looks so calm and collected. But it gave me a sense of loneliness and isolation for her.
