Yesterday transplanted cleaned out two flower beds

and then awoke this morning to two inches of SNOW. That's it, going to head to the gallery today to take down the snow scenes. Got couple of shrubs moved yesterday and transplanted some smaller flowers right before it started to rain here. Now wondering if the late snowfall will nip the buds of the lilacs. Ole' man winter is not done with us yet.

Lou your over there one state closer to home; no doubt you woke up to the "surprise snow showers" as well. Country roads leading to the fields beyond so happy touched some place within you.

This is a very lovely scene! It reminds me so much of a little town in Japan I visited with my wife, called Takayama. We were there in winter and there was a little road covered in snow, just like this one, leading up to some ruins of an old castle. We had such a great time in Takayama and this scene brings back those happy memories :)
